Systematic Industries bags orders for Optical Ground Wire and Optical Fibre Cables

Systematic Industries (SIL) has secured orders for Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) and Optical Fibre Cables (OFC) and from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGICL), railways, utility customers and thereby, reinforcing its strong position in India’s EPC business, power transmission and railway communication segments.

The company has secured an OPGW supply cum installation developmental order from PGICL amounting to Rs 1.88 crore. With the aforesaid order, the company has made inroads into EPC tendering business. Additionally, Systematic has won OPGW supply order for towering accessories and earthing for 132kv transmission line amounting to Rs 41 lakh towards a Hydro Power Project in Nepal. 

The company has received its first purchase order from East Central Railway, awarded under a competitive tendering process, for the supply of 24-Fibre Armoured Optical Fibre Cable conforming to RDSO specifications. The total order value of this Railway contract is approximately Rs 2.01 crore. The order facilitates Systematic Industries to tap the OFC opportunities in Indian Railways driven by massive infrastructure upgrades. 

Systematic Industries is operating in the steel wire industry and engaged in the business of manufacturing and supplying of various steel wires and cables, catering to the needs of power transmission, infrastructure, telecommunications, agro-based and allied industries.
