Railways stocks trade higher as govt proposes 7 high-speed rail corridors

Railways stocks moved higher as Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced plans to develop environmentally sustainable passenger transport systems through seven high-speed rail corridors.

Jupiter Wagons is currently trading at Rs. 330.90, up by 8.20 points or 2.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 322.70 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 327.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 341.10 and Rs. 324.05 respectively.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 629.10, up by 6.05 points or 0.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 623.05 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 629.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 634.70 and Rs. 623.55 respectively.

Indian Railway Finance Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 121.10, up by 0.95 points or 0.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 120.15 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 121.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 124.00 and Rs. 118.65 respectively.
