Aerospace stocks trade lower despite MRO customs duty exemption

Aerospace-related stocks traded lower despite FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced an exemption from basic customs duty on raw materials imported for MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul).

Taneja Aerospace & Aviation is currently trading at Rs. 285.50, down by 13.20 points or 4.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 298.70 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 310.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 310.00 and Rs. 285.05 respectively. So far 20719 shares were traded on the counter.

GMR Airports is currently trading at Rs. 91.35, down by 2.50 points or 2.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 93.85 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 94.14 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.26 and Rs. 91.26 respectively. So far 142004 shares were traded on the counter.

Hindustan Aeronautics is currently trading at Rs. 4435.55, down by 182.30 points or 3.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 4617.85 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 4669.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4712.60 and Rs. 4431.15 respectively. So far 160266 shares were traded on the counter.
