Defence sector stocks traded lower even despite government announced defence expenditure at Rs 5.94 lakh crore in FY27 as against Rs 5.68 lakh crore in FY26.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers is currently trading at Rs 2605.85, down by 159.85 points or 5.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 2765.70 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 2789.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2844.50 and Rs. 2505.60 respectively.
