Exhicon Events Media Solutions’ subsidiary--United Helicharters (UHPL) has expanded its fleet with the induction of one more Airbus H130 helicopter. The handover of the aircraft documentation was completed between Skypulse Solutions & UHPL on the closing day of ‘Wings India 2026’, Hyderabad. The newly inducted Airbus H130 has been further leased to Pinal Holidays under a five-year long-term agreement.

Hero MotoCorp has reported a 26 per cent growth in dispatches to dealers at 5,57,871 units in January 2026 compared with 442,873 units in the same month last year. The company also recorded 491,986 VAHAN registrations this month, reflecting healthy retail momentum across markets.

Gabion Technologies India has received Vendor Approval / Notice of No Objection (NONO) for its Rock Catch Fence / Barrier system for use in the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (Bullet Train) Project, Package C3, awarded to Larsen & Toubro Construction. The vendor approval has been granted by the Engineer based on satisfactory review of the submitted documents, design methodology, and test results, in accordance with the applicable project specifications and approved procedures.

Ashok Leyland has reported 27% rise in its total sales, including exports, at 21,920 units in January 2026 as compared to 17,213 units in January 2025. During January 2026, the company’s Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales grew 32% year-on-year (YoY) to 7,700 units. Further, its Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks sales rose 43% to 11,800 units in January 2026 compared to 8,269 units in previous year same month. While, M&HCV Bus sales decrease 22% to 2,420 units in January 2026 as compared to 3,115 units in January 2025.

Eicher Motors and Volvo Group's joint venture (JV) company -- VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) (Inclusive of EVs) has posted 24.9% rise in total sales at 10,601 units in January 2026 as compared to the same month last year. It had sold 8,489 units in January 2025. In the domestic front, Eicher branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 9,729 units in January 2026 as compared to 7,872 units in January 2025. Moreover, the total sales of Volvo Trucks & Buses witnessed a 2.4% increase, totaling 171 units in January 2026 as compared to 167 units in January 2025.

Asian Energy Services has made a new oil discovery at its onshore Mevad field in Gujarat, following the drilling and testing of a new well with expected peak production of around 125-130 barrels of oil per day (bopd). The well NM-01 was drilled to a total depth of 1,650 metres, encountering three hydrocarbon-bearing sand intervals -- Mandhali, Sobhasan, and Kalol. These zones are being evaluated sequentially. The well is currently producing around 100 bopd in the testing phase from Sobhasan sand, with data indicating potential production rates of 125-130 bopd.
