FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 22 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2835.30 crore against gross selling of Rs 1833.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1001.60 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 649.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 1799.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1150.00 crore in debt.
