Diffusion Engineers has received approval for acquisition of 10% of shares of Tejorup Sunmay Systems. The proposed acquisition is intended to strengthen the presence of Diffusion Engineers in the defence sector. Through this investment, the company proposes to enter into the manufacturing of defence solutions that are designed and developed by Tejorup Sunmay Systems. The cost of acquisition is around Rs 4.4 crore.
The defence sector is a priority sector and continues to receive significant budgetary allocations from the Government, making it an attractive growth opportunity. The acquisition is therefore aligned with the company’s strategic objective of expanding into high growth and technology-driven segments and is expected to enhance its long-term business prospects.
The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on February 6, 2026, has approved the same.
