Acutaas Chemicals’ arm buys 75% stake in JV company in South Korea

Acutaas Chemicals’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Acutaas Advance Material (previously known as Baba Advance Materials) has acquired 75% of shareholding in the joint venture company (JV company), Indichem Inc. Pursuant to this, Indichem Inc. has become a step-down subsidiary of the company.  The 300,000 shares representing 75% of shareholding in Indichem Inc. have been acquired at par value of 500 South Korean won per share fully paid, plus partly paid applicable share premium amount.

Indichem Inc is into the business of manufacture of speciality chemicals for semiconductor industry catering to South Korean and Global Market. The acquisition of shareholding in JV company is in line with the growth strategy of Acutaas Advance Material for expansion into the speciality chemicals for semiconductor industry in the global market significantly complementing its existing product portfolio. 

Earlier in June 2025, Baba Advance Materials (BAML) has entered into a joint venture agreement with J & Materials Co., a South Korean company, whereby BAML shall hold 75% of the share capital of the JV company -- Indichem Inc., a South Korean company and the remaining 25% of the share capital of the JV company will be held by J & Materials Co.
