V-Mart Retail has reported results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.
The company has reported over two fold jump in its net profit at Rs 2.81 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 1.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operations of the company has increased by 53.68% at Rs 122.16 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 79.49 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities including Sultanpur, Ujjain, Motihari. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
