Japan market traded lower in early deals on Tuesday, amid a lack of clear market direction. Stock markets of Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan and China are closed for a holiday. Investors turned cautious as US-Iran tensions escalated ahead of scheduled talks in Geneva. Japan’s Nikkei slipped for the fourth straight session, driven by sharp sell offs in technology and defence sector stocks.

Nikkei down by 431.41 points or 0.76% to 56,375.00
