Birla Corporation has resumed the cement production at Durgapur Cement Units following the restoration of power supply by Damodar Valley Corporation on October 22, 2013. The Durgapur Cement Units operations have been affected on account of severe ‘Tornado’ on October 13, 2013, which damaged local High Tension line and pole structure.
