Essar Shipping has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2013.
The company has reported a net loss of Rs 41.46 crore for the quarter as compared to a net loss of Rs 54.69 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has decreased by 35.83% at Rs 225.31 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 351.11 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
On the consolidated basis, the group has reported a net loss of Rs 11.20 crore as compared to a net loss of Rs 35.99 crore in the same quarter previous year. Total income from operation of the group declined 37.18% to Rs 491.52 crore for quarter under review as against Rs 782.41 crore in corresponding quarter previous year.
