Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2013.
The company has reported a fall of 27.62% in its net profit at Rs 47.78 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 66.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has decreased by 3.11% at Rs 466.76 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 481.74 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals is engaged in business of manufacturing basic chemicals such as sodium cyanide, sodium ferrocyanide, chloromethanes, hydrochloric acid, caustic potash, potassium carbonate, phosphoric acid (85%) and hydrogen peroxide.
