The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15282.19 crore against gross selling of Rs 16847.82 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1565.63 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2955.28 crore with gross sales of Rs 3098.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 143.60 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 143.64 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 306.04 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 593.28 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2391.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 35.87 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2355.49 crore in hybrid segment.
