Modi to meet Patna blast victims on November 2

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will visit Patna on November 2 to meet the families of the six people who died in a series of bomb blasts last Sunday.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi said that Narendra Modi has accepted the request of the state BJP to visit Bihar to meet families of the blast victims,  and the injured, to express his concern for them, despite his busy programme. Narendra Modi is expected to visit six villages in different districts to meet families of those killed in serial blasts and will also visit the Patna Medical College and Hospital to meet the seriously injured. Modi will use a helicopter to visit six villages to meet families of victims.

Six people were killed and 83 injured in the blasts that rocked Patna between 9.30 a.m. and 12.45 p.m. on Sunday shortly before Modi's address to a 'Hunkar rally' in Gandhi Maidan. Ashes of the dead would be taken to different parts of the state from their native villages and immersed in the Ganga river in Patna Nov 5 and state BJP announced that the party would provide Rs.5 lakh each to the families of those killed and also bear the cost of their last rites.
