Spot rubber prices were not available on Wednesday as the local trading houses remained closed at Kottayam owing to a 12 hour hartal in protest, against the recent price fall of the commodity.
In the futures market, contract of November delivery inched up to Rs 161.20 compared to its previous closing of Rs 161.09, while December delivery closed at Rs 163 compared to its previous closing of Rs 162.87 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
