FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 07 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14755.62 crore against gross selling of Rs 20495.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5740.26 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 5135.06 crore with gross sales of Rs 1869.31 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3265.75 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 465.01 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 911.33 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2819.43 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 33.57 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 24.21 crore in hybrid segment.
