Cochin Shipyard has informed that Udupi Cochin Shipyard (Udupi-CSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of CSL, has bagged a Notable order from Ocean Sparkle, an Adani Group Company, for the construction of four nos. of ASD (Azimuthing Stern Drive) Tugs of 70 T Bollard Pull Power. These tugs will be constructed in accordance with the Approved Standard Tug Design and Specifications (ASTDS) promulgated by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW), Government of India. The Tug deliveries will commence from November 2028 and will be completed by June 2029. None of the promoter/ promoter group/ group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the order. Further, the said order also does not fall under the purview of related party transactions.
