The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18672.35 crore against gross selling of Rs 18692.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 19.82 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3719.02 crore with gross sales of Rs 3193.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 525.03 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 75.08 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 785.63 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 335.68 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19.11 crore against gross selling of Rs 63.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 43.95 crore in hybrid segment.
