Marsons receives approval to supply transformers upto 132kV in Powergrid projects

Marsons has received approval of manufacturing unit for supply of Transformers upto 132kV in Powergrid projects from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL). This approval follows a comprehensive assessment of the company’s manufacturing infrastructure, quality management systems, high-voltage test facilities, and technical credentials.

With this approval, the company becomes the only PGCIL-approved Extra High Voltage Transformer manufacturer across West Bengal and the neighbouring states of Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Nagaland, and Mizoram. The approval is expected to materially enhance the company’s participation in PGCIL-tendered projects across the country and to strengthen its standing with state utilities, electricity boards, and large infrastructure developers nationally.
