FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 15 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17136.59 crore against gross selling of Rs 16025.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1111.53 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 996.52 crore with gross sales of Rs 3856.02 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2859.50 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 168.17 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1482.33 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1209.00 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 874.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 913.34 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 39.33 crore in hybrid segment.
