The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17137.77 crore against gross selling of Rs 14918.34 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2219.43 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2209.77 crore with gross sales of Rs 1166.13 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1043.64 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 180.85 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 429.96 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 794.53 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7.38 crore against gross selling of Rs 44.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 37.61 crore in hybrid segment.
