Dalmia Bharat, Kesar India and Mphasis to see some action today

Dalmia Bharat’s wholly owned subsidiary-- Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL) has executed a Business Transfer Agreement with Jaiprakash Associates (JAL) (which has been acquired by Adani Group under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code IBC) and Adani Infra (India) on May 21, 2026 for acquisition of Cement Undertaking comprising of plants located at Rewa (Madhya Pradesh), Churk, Chunar and Sadwa (Uttar Pradesh) with 5.2 MnTPA cement capacity and 3.3 MnTPA clinker capacity at an enterprise value of Rs 2,850 crore. The asset also entails 99 MW of thermal power capacity and railway siding at Rewa and Chunar, along with a common railway siding at Churk.

Kesar India’s Wholly-Owned Subsidiary -- Kesar Infraventures has secured an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract worth Rs 160 crore from Zee Enterprises. The contract is for a large-scale residential development project at Siddharth Nagar, Byculla, Central Mumbai. The project is expected to be executed over an estimated timeline of 24 months. 

Mphasis has launched the ‘Mphasis AI Hub’, a cross-functional collaboration aimed at accelerating AI-led research, innovation, and capacity building for societal and sectoral impact in India. The initiative is supported by the Mphasis F1 Foundation, which will invest around Rs 20 crore over four years in Phase 1 to advance research and applied AI solutions. The initiative will focus initially on Healthcare and Finance, with plans to expand into other priority sectors. At the core of the partnership is the establishment of a dedicated AI research hub at ISB, designed to serve as a platform for interdisciplinary research and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Exato Technologies has received three orders from iQor India Services, Noida for professional charges for managed services. The aggregate value of the above-mentioned orders is Rs 24.57 crore exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties, levies, or other government-imposed charges. 

Allied Blenders and Distillers has received approval for incorporation of an Overseas Wholly Owned Subsidiary in United Kingdom with the name ABD UK and/or ABD as a prefix, as approved by the relevant authority (NewCo) along with the initial capital of 100 GBP. The objects of the Company, inter alia, includes distilling, rectifying and blending of spirits, trading, warehousing and manufacturing of beer, sale of food and beverages and wholesale of wine, beer, spirits and other alcoholic beverages. The Board of Directors of the company at its Meeting held on May 21, 2026, has, inter alia, considered and approved the same. 

BCPL Railway Infrastructure has emerged as the single lowest bidder (L1) from Sealdah divisions of the Eastern Railway, for the Tender relating to the work of Design, Drawing, Supply and Erection of 25 KV OHE and allied electrical works in connection with Miscellaneous TRD work for improvement of OHE Reliability over Sealdah Division. Single Lowest bidder for project cost of Rs 4.25 crore (Incl. GST). 

Eicher Motors (EML) and Volvo Group have intended for a new 50:50 Joint Venture for financing, leasing and other financial services business. An investment of up to Rs 750 crores has been approved by the Board of EML to subscribe to a 50% equity stake in Volvo Financial Services (VFS) India. EML maintains a long-standing and successful partnership with Volvo Group through their joint venture, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV). The proposed JV will be the captive financing arm for VECV, EML, and Volvo Group products in India.
