Asian markets traded in green in early deals on Friday, due to easing geopolitical tensions amidst ongoing diplomatic efforts for US-Iran peace and dip in crude oil rates. Easing concerns over energy supply disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz, kindled Wall Street overnight. Rally in technology and artificial intelligence-related stocks whetted the local indices. Japan’s Nikkei soared in the session with the rise in foreign investments and gains in exports followed by the weakness in local currency yen.

Nikkei surged by 1,605.86 points or 2.60% to 63,290.00, Straits Times up by 19.42 points 0.38% to 5,065.13, Hang Seng rose by 339.48 points 1.32% to 25,726.00, KOSPI Index soared by 39.71 points or 0.51% to 7,855.30, Taiwan weighted lifted by 854.09 points or 2.06% to 42,222.30, Jakarta Composite added by 18.50 points or 0.30% to 6,113.44, Shanghai Composite increased by 18.96 points or 0.47% to 4,096.24, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI index widened by 4.36 points or 0.26% to 1,712.72.
