Jigar Cables has commenced commercial production of Medium Voltage Control Cables (MVCC), High Tension (HT) Cables, and Power and Control Cables (PCC) at its new manufacturing facility in Gomta, Rajkot, with effect from May 23, 2026. The manufacturing facility has an installed monthly production capacity of around 500 km to 1,000 km for MVCC, HT cables, and PCC.
Earlier, the Company had commenced commercial production of conductors (semi-finished products), which are key components of MVCC, at the said facility with effect from March 30, 2026.
Jigar Cables manufacture Power and Control Cables, House Wires/ Building Wires, Flat Cables for Submersible pumps and Aerial Bunched cables under the brand name 'SIGMA'.
