FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 25 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10168.75 crore against gross selling of Rs 15428.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5259.31 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 781.06 crore with gross sales of Rs 1697.87 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 916.81 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 302.93 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1400.28 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 180.54 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22.26 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 0.92 crore in hybrid segment.
