FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 26 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12928.24 crore against gross selling of Rs 10733.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2194.68 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1433.56 crore with gross sales of Rs 1075.74 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 357.82 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 193.61 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 326.52 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 224.91 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15.60 crore against gross selling of Rs 14.21 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.39 crore in hybrid segment.
