Linde India has started commercial production at its new Air Separation Unit (ASU) at Jindal Stainless (JSL) at Kalinganagar, Odisha. The facility is specifically designed to supply 1,450 tonnes per day of Oxygen, 1,800 tonnes per day (TPD) of Nitrogen and 64 TPD of Argon to JSL and shall have additional capacity to cater to demand in the merchant market.
Earlier, the company had signed a long-term agreement with Jindal Stainless (JSL), the largest stainless-steel conglomerate in India, on August 01, 2022 for setting up of a 1,450 TPD new ASU to meet industrial gases requirement for JSL’s expansion project at Kalinganagar in Odisha.
Linde India formerly BOC India (BOCI) is engaged in manufacturing of industrial gases and undertaking engineering projects.
