Physical Rubber prices extended gains on Saturday, driven by robust industrial demand coupled with ongoing supply shortages in the global market. Furthermore, higher production costs for synthetic rubber also increased the appeal of natural rubber for industrial use.

Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 256.50/kg to its previous closing of Rs 254.50/kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 253.50/kg to its previous closing of Rs 251.50/kg.
