The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17670.87 crore against gross selling of Rs 22737.25 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5066.38 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1405.11 crore with gross sales of Rs 1858.15 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 453.04 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 22.68 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 25.85 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 501.57 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10.16 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.51 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9.35 crore in hybrid segment.
