SMS Pharmaceuticals has informed that the Company had received a request from a shareholder holding shares in physical form for updating KYC documents through the Registrar and Share Transfer Agent (RTA) of the Company. Upon verification of the KYC documents submitted by the shareholder, the Company observed that the said shares had already been claimed by another person impersonating the original shareholder. Accordingly, the Company initiated a detailed enquiry and carried out verification of the documents and transfer records relating to the said shares.
