Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has acquired stake in Emcure Pharmaceuticals from BC INVESTMENTS IV, the private equity investment holding company owned by Bain Capital, through an open market transaction worth Rs 612 crore. Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has bought 36 lakh equity shares, representing 1.89% of total share holding, of the company at price of Rs 1,700 apiece.
