Nippon India Mutual Fund has acquired stake in Sanofi India through an open market transaction worth around Rs 83.19 crore. The mutual fund has acquired around 2.64 lakh shares, representing 1.15% of total shareholding, of the company. The shares were acquired at an average price of Rs 3,150 apiece.
Meanwhile, HDFC Life Insurance Company has sold 2.75 lakh shares, representing 1.19% of total shareholding, of the company at the same price.
Sanofi India primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
