The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16452.29 crore against gross selling of Rs 15438.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1014.12 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4756.51 crore with gross sales of Rs 2248.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2507.57 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 753.58 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 346.49 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1407.50 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 23.71 crore against gross selling of Rs 22.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.03 crore in hybrid segment.
