Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Monday driven by sluggish off-season demand from tyre manufacturers and lower global crude oil prices, which have made synthetic rubber more competitive.

Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 273/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 274/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 268/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 269/ kg.
