Physical rubber prices held steady on Wednesday due to sluggish demand from tyre manufacturers, while falling global crude oil prices made synthetic rubber more competitive.

Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 273/kg and Rs 268/kg, respectively.
