British Prime Minister David Cameron to meet Manmohan Singh

British Prime Minister David Cameron will be on a two-day visit to India, before heading for Sri Lankan capital Colombo to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) on Friday. During his visit, Cameron will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the latter's official 7 RCR residence.

The British Prime Minister is likely to hold talks with Dr. Singh on a number of crucial bilateral, regional and international issues, in order to boost cooperation in trade and investments, as well as enhance ties in areas of mutual interest.

He will then proceed to Kolkata where he will meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the British Deputy High Commission in the city on Thursday evening. He will then fly out to Colombo for the CHOGM at 8 p.m. on the same day
