Physical rubber prices held steady on Saturday amid sluggish off-season demand from the tire sector, while falling global crude oil prices made synthetic rubber more competitive.

Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 269/kg and Rs 265/kg, respectively.
