The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20247.02 crore against gross selling of Rs 18676.31 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1570.71 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2461.43 crore with gross sales of Rs 1312.15 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1149.28 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 566.37 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 119.04 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 701.95 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 25.60 crore against gross selling of Rs 15.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 9.61 crore in hybrid segment.
