A fire incident has been reported at Aurobindo Pharma’s intermediate manufacturing block Unit-11 manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. The said unit caught fire on November 13, 2013 and is located at Pydibhimavaram, Srikakulam near Vizag, Andhra Pradesh.
This is an isolated block from the main production area. There was no impact to the manufacturing operations, supplies and no major damage of assets. There has not been any a human casualty or injuries.
