Furthermore, Crude oil prices have continued their upward trend, climbing further on Thursday as the US and Iran exchanged fresh military strikes, causing disruption in the Strait of Hormuz.
Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 02 basis points lower at 6.75% from its previous close of 6.77% on Wednesday.
The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 2 basis points lower at 6.43% from its previous close of 6.45% on Wednesday.
