FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per July 17 data: NSDL

17 Jul 2026 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14823.21 crore against gross selling of Rs 18003.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3179.96 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1145.79 crore with gross sales of Rs 1296.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 151.20 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 91.18 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 330.05 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 87.67 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 26.67 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 13.66 crore in hybrid segment.
