Further to its intimation dated July 20, 2026 regarding prohibition order issued by the Inspector of Factories, Puducherry with respect to one of our plants viz., Ethylene-Di-Chloride (EDC) manufacturing plant of our Karaikal facility - Puducherry, Chemplast Sanmar has informed that the Puducherry Pollution Control Committee has issued Directions to be complied with, vide its letter dated 22nd July, 2026 to the Company stating, that the operation of the EDC manufacturing plant shall be closed down forthwith and shall not resume the operation until further orders of the Puducherry Pollution Control Committee. The Company is undertaking necessary corrective actions and is in the process of submitting a compliance report to the Puducherry Pollution Control Committee The details required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, read with Para 20 of Part A of Schedule III thereof and SEBI Master Circular No. HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFDPOD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026 is enclosed as Annexure – A.
