Hirect wins order worth Rs 60 crore from Indian Railways

Hirect has secured an order worth around Rs 60 crore form Modern Coach Factory (MCF) / Indian Railways. The order is for supply of complete Propulsion Systems for 4 Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) trainsets. The order is to be executed within 24 months.

In addition, the company has secured its first development order for Vande Metro (Namo Bharat) trainset from Indian Railways. Broad consideration or size of the order is around Rs 60 crore. The order is to be executed within 21 months.

Hirect (formerly known as Hind Rectifiers) is engaged in developing, designing, manufacturing and marketing power semiconductors, power electronic equipments and railway transportation equipments.
