Bharat Electronics (BEL) has signed a pact with GIS major Esri India to collaborate on defence projects and programmes involving geographic information systems, location intelligence and GeoAI. BEL and Esri India have already delivered projects for the Indian defence services, and the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between them will further strengthen the collaboration.
NTPC has signed 750 MW power purchase agreement (PPA) with Evren for solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. This agreement marks a significant milestone in the company's growth journey and is among the largest renewable energy projects secured by capacity in India. The project, once operational, will generate 2.5 billion units of clean energy annually and mitigate 1.8 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

Jupiter Wagons (JWL) has signed landmark strategic partnership with Lucchini RS Holding S.p.A. (LRS), one of the world's leading manufacturers of railway wheels, axles and wheelsets. Under binding agreements, Lucchini RS will acquire a 15% equity stake in Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory (JTRWF), while SIMEST S.p.A., an Italian Government financial institute, will acquire an additional 10% stake. Together, the two stakes totalling 25% represent a combined stake consideration of approximately 28 euro million.
Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has acquired Krishnagiri REZ Transmission, the Project SPV to establish Inter-State Transmission system for ‘Transmission System for integration of Krishnagiri REZ Phase-I’, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator - PFC Consulting (PFCCL). The project comprises establishment of 2 new 765/400kV Sub-stations in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Further, the project involves construction of 765kV & 400kV transmission lines traversing through the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Karnataka along with associated bays.
