The FIIs on Wednesday were net buyers in equities and in debt segment also, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2012.70 crore against gross sell of Rs 1976.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 36.30 in equities on June 8, 2011.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1392.30 crore with gross sales of Rs 549.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 843.10 crore in debt on June 8, 2011.
