Physical Rubber prices declined on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices declined on Tuesday on buyer resistance, though there was no visible selling pressure in the market.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 157 compared to its previous closing of Rs 158; while the RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 148 compared to its previous closing of Rs 149.

In the futures market, contract of December delivery inched up to Rs 157.96 compared to its previous close of Rs 157.77, while January delivery closed at Rs 159.91 compared to its previous closing of Rs 160 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
