FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 05 data: NSDL

05 Aug 2026 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22837.94 crore against gross selling of Rs 13514.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 9323.38 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1883.13 crore with gross sales of Rs 1274.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 608.81 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 22.17 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 416.50 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 21.33 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 39.28 crore against gross selling of Rs 17.95 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 21.33 crore in hybrid segment.
