FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 06 data: NSDL

06 Aug 2026 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17458.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 17109.52 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 349.00 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1768.59 crore with gross sales of Rs 2136.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 368.30 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 134.81 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 69.06 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 302.55 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 66.95 crore against gross selling of Rs 521.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 454.49 crore in hybrid segment.
