FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 07 data: NSDL

07 Aug 2026 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16629.92 crore against gross selling of Rs 16163.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 466.29 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1118.10 crore with gross sales of Rs 1866.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 748.30 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 271.74 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 822.98 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 197.06 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10.64 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8.99 crore in hybrid segment.
